Why students go here
Shorter degrees and many Nepalese students already in the UK are common reasons to pick it.
1. One-year master's degrees
Many master's courses finish in 12 months. That can mean lower living costs than a two-year degree elsewhere.
2. Work after your degree
After graduation, you may stay and work for a set time. We confirm the current rules when you accept an offer.
3. Many universities to choose from

4. Courses in English
IELTS or PTE is usually needed for both the university and the visa.
After you accept an offer, the university sends you a CAS number. You then apply for a student visa with proof of money, a TB test if needed, and your English scores. Fingerprints are done in Nepal. You must show you can pay tuition and living costs. We check your CAS details before you pay the visa fee and health surcharge.
International fees are set by each university. London campuses cost more to live in than the rest of the country.

Chevening, Commonwealth, and university awards all have early deadlines. Most students we see use a partial university scholarship plus family funds.

Automatic or separate applications, often 10–50% of tuition. We list them next to each offer.

Highly competitive leadership scholarships. We only start this track if your profile matches the published bar.
September is the main start. January is common for business and some computing master’s.

Student visa holders can usually work up to 20 hours a week in term time, depending on the course level. After graduation, the Graduate Route is the common option if you qualify.
UKVI publishes different funds for London and the rest of the UK. Rent is still the item that surprises students.
